George Steinberg, MD, AGAF

A highly trained gastroenterologist, Dr. Steinberg performs colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures and provides accurate and thorough care for patients suffering from digestive issues. He is committed to his patients, helping each individual understand his or her condition and available treatment options, while setting them on a pathway to improved health.

At present, he is in practice with Gastroenterology of NJ in Jersey City, New Jersey. He and his colleagues pride themselves on their patient-centered, cost effective approach to digestive health. A current resident of Hudson County, Dr. Steinberg was born in New Jersey and has spent the majority of his life in the Garden State. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree & his Master of Science in Public Health degree from New York University in 1992 and 1994, respectively. In 1999, he graduated with his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. For two decades, Dr. Steinberg has taken impeccable care of a myriad GI patients throughout the area. Dr. Steinberg is board-certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. Holding fellowship status, he is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology & a Fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association. An accomplished research writer, Dr. Steinberg has co-authored several publications on sedation and colonoscopy, in addition to other gastroenterology pertinent topics.

Dr. Corbin is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition. He completed his pediatric gastroenterology training at Michigan State University. He previously served in academic positions with the University of Florida and the University of Minnesota.


Dr. Corbin is dedicated to providing high quality care in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders including abdominal pain, feeding difficulties, inflammatory Bowel disease (Crohn’s diseases and Ulcerative colitis), Celiac disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), eosinophilic esophagitis (EOE), pancreatic disease, liver disease, failure to thrive, food allergies, Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), diarrhea, constipation, and functional gastrointestinal disorders.

Dr. Bauer is a Gastroenterologist who cares deeply about all of her patients. Dr. Bauer enjoys making a positive impact on each of her patients lives and looks forward to meeting you soon. Dr. Bauer is affiliated with St. Michael's Medical Center - Columbus Campus in Newark, NJ and can speak English, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese.

Dr. Dewei Lee was born in Taipei, Taiwan and raised in Ewing, New Jersey. He has an undergraduate in education with a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Louisiana State University and French Language Studies from the Institute Des Etudiants Estrangers Paul Valery Montpellier III, France. Dr. Jen earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in a combined program of Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics from 1999 to 2005.

Dr. Jen is Board Certified in Gastroenterology. His clinical interest include hemorrhoid treatment. He lives in Hudson County with his family. He enjoys reading, playing the Ukulele, dancing the Argentina tango, cooking and relaxing at home and outdoors with his wife and daughter.
